PURPOSE
The purpose of this policy is to ensure safety at the nursery premises while ensuring visitors and volunteers to be a part of Happy Hearts Nursery
DEFINITIONS
Visitors - a person visiting someone or somewhere, especially socially or as a tourist. Volunteer - a person who works for an organization without being paid
POLICY STATEMENT
Happy Hearts Nursery warmly welcomes visitors and volunteers on its premises keeping in mind the below mentioned guidelines:
Visitors are a crucial part of Happy Hearts Nursery, they come in the form of prospective parents seeking admission for their child, or existing parents and families of children already registered at the nursery.
- Upon entering the nursery premises, they are requested to log their entry in the visitors log book stating their name, contact information, emirates ID number and reason for visit along with their time and signature.
- They are then given the visitors badge and taken for a tour of the nursery accompanied by a nursery staff at all times.
- If the visitor is a male member, they are not allowed a tour of the classes during the nursery hours as it is occupied by children.
- Visitors are requested to maintain silence and ensure their presence does not cause any disturbance to the children at the nursery.
Happy Hearts Nursery believes that volunteers are a valuable contribution to the society.
- In order to ensure safety with regards to any adult dealing with children at Happy Hearts Nursery, we ensure that the volunteer has approval from ADEK before allowing them to work at the nursery.
- The volunteer is accompanied by a staff of the nursery at all times.
- The volunteer has a sign in and sign out sheet that needs to be filled regularly during their tenure at Happy Hearts Nursery.
- Volunteers are offered support and guidance and are given constructive feedback with regards to their performance at the nursery.
