PURPOSE
The purpose of this policy is to establish clear guidelines regarding the staff rights and responsibilities.
DEFINITIONS
Rights – a moral or legal entitlement to have or do something. Responsibilities - a thing which one is required to do as part of a job, role, or legal obligation.
POLICY STATEMENT
All Happy Hearts Nursery staff enjoy the privilege of the below rights and responsibilities:
Rights of our Staff:
- The staff at Happy Hearts Nursery are granted all the rights as per the Ministry of Labour and other governing bodies of the United Arab Emirates.
- The staff is entitled to six days of paid leave per year upon providing the medical leave report from the doctor.
- The staff is entitled to 30 days of paid annual leave upon completion of 12 months of work at Happy Hearts Nursery.
- The staff is entitled to all the private sector public holidays as announced by the governing bodies of United Arab Emirates.
- The staff have a right to approach the higher management in case of any issues faced during their tenure at the nursery.
- The staff has the right to resign from the nursery provided they have given a term’s notice and served the period as well.
- The staff has the right to refuse any kind of photography or videography if it violates their privacy.
- The staff has the right to refuse participating in any function/event that may be against their beliefs and values.
- The staff has the right to raise complaints and suggestions that may benefit the higher good of the nursery.
Responsibilities of the Staff:
- The staff is responsible for maintaining good behaviour while on the nursery premises.
- The staff is responsible for performing all duties and tasks delegated to them by the higher management.
- The staff is responsible for keeping children’s safety at their utmost priority.
- The staff is responsible for always being welcoming towards the children and parents at Happy Hearts Nursery.
- The staff is responsible for notifying the management in case of any wrong practices that happen on the nursery premises.
- The staff is responsible for ensuring they always put the child’s need above their own while on the nursery premises.
- The staff is responsible for informing the management in case they have committed a mistake, so it can be rectified at the earliest.
- The staff is responsible for being punctual and arrive at the nursery at their delegated time.
