PURPOSE

Happy Hearts Nursery has designed the staff retaining policy for retaining the best staff for a lifelong and exciting career at Happy Hearts Nursery.

POLICY STATEMENT

Create opportunities

Highly-effective teachers are ambitious, they expand their leadership and grow throughout their careers. We create opportunities for teachers to play a more active role in planning and decision-making and capitalize on teachers’ individual strengths.

Professional Development

Partner with organizations to provide training to develop leadership and professional development. Teaching is an incredibly demanding job, and while many teachers want to expand their impact beyond their classroom, they often don’t have the time to take on additional responsibility. We focus restructuring our staffing and scheduling to provide this time for teachers.

Easing out workload

We provide teaching assistants to assist children in the classrooms. Teaching aides and resources and material are provided on regular basis, so teachers can focus solely on instruction and managing her class.

Job satisfaction

Teachers are supported by school administrators, including the principal to impart job satisfaction. Engage practices to build trust and camaraderie with teachers, including recognizing teacher accomplishments, communicating regularly with teaching staff about changes in policies, and remaining accessible and open to suggestions or complaints.
